Fun fact
The name “Angelus” derives from the name of grandma Angelina who began to rent out rooms in her villa in 1948. In 1952 the villa was transformed into “Pensione Angelina” and in 1964, Luciana, Angelina’s daughter, further expanded the structure and it became “Hotel Angelus”. Today, Elena, Angelina’s granddaughter, manages the hotel and, year after year, she does utmost to make the hotel more and more welcoming to make guests feel at home.
